NOVEMBER BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING FY 1994-95 AUDIT Town Auditor Lee Carroll presented the annual audit for the Town. At the end of the 1994-95 fiscal year, there was $65,405 that was added to the General Fund Balance. This saving was the result of excellent tax collection rate, good management and investments by the Finance Dept, and frugal spending. All of these factors contribute to the excellent credit rating of the Town and will enable the Town to borrow money needed for the Water project or any other need at a lower rate of interest. This audit report will be presented to the Government Finance Officers Association for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program.
